Pantheon has openings in consulting and training for people with enthusiasm, energy and initiative. We have both full-time and part-time positions available for software engineers, analysts, instructors and course developers. Skills we are looking for include:

JAVA | C++/C | DCOM/ActiveX | OO Analysis & Design | UML | CORBA | EJB | MFC | ATL | XML
General Skills | Training Skills | Course Preparation Skills

  1. .NET Technologies
    Experience/understanding of .NET technologies, including architecture, applications and issues. Knowledge of C# and/or VB.NET a big plus.

  2. JAVA
    Experience with JAVA development - excellent familiarity with Java 1.4, virtual machine features, issues relating to efficient Java programming for internet usage.

  3. Enterprise Java Beans (EJB)
    Experience with EJB development - allied J2EE technologies - JDBC, CORBA, JNDI.

  4. XML
    Experience in XML technologies. Experience in developing XML solutions for vertical and broad-use applications. Experience with XSLT and allied uses. Use with SAX/DOM technologies.

  5. DCOM/ActiveX
    Experience in DCOM/COM/OLE/ActiveX technologies. Experience in developing OCX components. Understanding of MFC under-the-hood relating to COM/ActiveX development.

  6. OO Analysis and Design
    Familiarity with current OO design methodologies. Use of design patterns. Deep knowledge of at least one OO methodology and practical experience with using it with a case tool. Top

  7. UML
    Knowledge and experience with Unified Modeling Language. Familiarity with the evolution of UML.

  8. CORBA
    Strong experience with distributed object computing. Knowledge and experience in CORBA programming with Visigenic and/or Orbix ORB's. Top

  9. C++/C
    Experience with C++/C development - excellent familiarity with C++, including STL, namespace and MI features, issues relating to efficient C++ programming.

  10. Microsoft Foundation Classes
    Strong experience in using MFC/Visual C++. Understanding of versions of MFC/VC++. Knowledge of SDK desirable.

  11. ATL
    Strong understanding and practical experience using the ActiveX Template Library (ATL).

  12. General skills
    Written and verbal communication strengths. Ability to summarize and simplify problems. Abstraction skills - problem redefinition at multiple levels of refinement. Top

  13. Training skills
    Experience with teaching, including presentation, elucidation, classroom techniques, question-answering, question-posing, lab assistance and summation.

  14. Course preparation skills
    Experience in preparing course materials, including creating new materials and/or revising and existing materials.
