London — May 19, 2009 — Pantheon, the global private equity fund of funds investor, has expanded its Asian team with the recruitment of Brian Lim as a Principal to its Hong Kong office. This brings the Asia-based investment team to eight professionals.

Brian Lim joins Pantheon from the UK government-backed investor, CDC Group, where he had been Portfolio Director for the pan-Asia region since 2005. Before joining CDC, he spent six years with Watson Wyatt, advising institutional investors on strategies and private equity allocations.

Pantheon manages over $23 billion globally and was the first private equity fund of funds investor to establish a local presence in Asia, opening its Hong Kong office 17 years ago.

Commenting on Brian’s appointment, Chris Meads, Partner at Pantheon’s Hong Kong office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Brian to the team. His experience, spanning both LP and GP investment strategies as well as a strong focus on emerging Asian markets, is distinctive. As we come out of this current economic downturn, we expect Asia to attract increasing interest. Pantheon as a market leader is strongly positioned to provide investors with access to this market.”
