Pantheon Partner, Susan Long McAndrews, has been named as a Woman to Watch in the private equity and venture capital industry. Compiled by Dow Jones’ Private Equity Analyst, Susan, who leads Pantheon’s U.S. Primaries investment practice and is a member of the firm’s Partnership Board and International Investment Committee, is named as one of eleven leading women in the private equity Limited Partner community.
In her interview with PEA, Susan commented on the insight she has learned as an investor during the Global Financial Crisis and encouraged fellow LPs to “look for new opportunities that meet the quality bar but could differentiate your returns”.

Private Equity Analyst canvassed members of the private equity and venture capital industry to come up with an initial list that was eventually narrowed down to 11 finalists. It focused on women with discretion in allocating capital and in roles of leadership. It says that many of these women are not only savvy fund investors – they are also responsible for the strategic direction of their groups and are mentors in their organizations.
