ZURICH, MIAMI – 13th May, 2026 – iCapital1, the global fintech company shaping the future of investing, together with LYNK Markets, a fintech platform empowering private market distribution in Latin America, today announced the launch of a Private Exchange-Traded Note (ETN) in collaboration with Pantheon, a leading global private markets manager. This launch marks the first Private ETN introduced with Pantheon as the first manager on the platform. This represents the initial step in a broader framework through which iCapital and LYNK Markets intend to roll out additional Private ETN solutions in collaboration with other asset managers.
By combining iCapital’s global marketplace and operating platform with LYNK Markets’ Private ETN infrastructure, alongside Pantheon’s global private equity investment and portfolio management expertise, the initiative establishes a scalable framework designed to support future offerings and broader international distribution of private markets strategies.
The Private ETN ultimately invests into Pantheon’s strategic, international private equity evergreen strategy and leverages traditional market infrastructure to streamline onboarding, administration, and reporting. While subscriptions and redemptions follow the fund’s monthly and quarterly schedule, the structure allows private market exposure to be held and monitored alongside publicly traded securities within familiar brokerage and custody accounts, addressing the operational complexity that has historically limited access to private markets across the region, while preserving the underlying investment discipline and governance of the strategy.
For asset managers, the Private ETN structure can facilitate international distribution without requiring duplicative fund documentation, while extending reach through established global funds and securities servicing infrastructure such as Euroclear and Clearstream. For wealth managers and advisors, the format provides trade-based access through existing accounts, eliminates subscription processes and duplicative AML/KYC requirements, and supports mark-to-market reporting through standard market systems.
Victor Mayer, Partner and Head of International in Pantheon’s Global Private Wealth team, said: “With over 40 years of experience, Pantheon brings deep expertise and a long-standing track record to private equity investing. The Private ETN structure addresses longstanding operational barriers to private markets participation in Latin America, and partnering with iCapital and LYNK Markets enables us to extend our reach through familiar market infrastructure, and for eligible investors across the region to access private markets alongside their publicly traded holdings.”
Mario Rivero, CEO of LYNK Markets, said: “We are focused on strengthening the infrastructure that supports private markets in Latin America. Our collaboration with Pantheon and iCapital is part of that broader effort.”
“This launch reflects the strength of our partnership with LYNK Markets and Pantheon, and our shared focus on delivering operationally efficient solutions for private markets investing,” said Wes Sturdevant, Head of International Client Solutions, Americas at iCapital. “Private ETNs represent an important evolution in how private markets strategies can be accessed internationally, offering eligible investors exposure through established market infrastructure while supporting scalable long-term distribution.”
The launch follows iCapital’s strategic investment in LYNK Markets and reflects the firms’ shared strategy to develop a scalable framework for future Private ETN offerings and broader international distribution.
